TATO thyroid antenna (18G x 8cm) is designed with a robust metal tip to target also calcified lesions, coated with Teflon to ensure a smooth penetration and positioning.
Visibility
Immediate follow up under CT with lower artifacts. The use of lower wattage minimizes the formation of “gas bubbles” and enhances visibility of the ablation progression under US guidance, giving good control to the operator when treating challenging lesions, reducing the risk of potential damages to surrounding structures.
Efficiency
TATO and TATOpro applicators are designed to minimize energy losses. The VLLTM (Very Low Loss) technology allows the applicators to operate, in absence of a cooling system, without causing skin burns.
Versatility
TATOpro applicators come in various sizes, ranging from 11G to 18G and in different lengths (8,10,15,20,25 cm). The detachable cable allows an easy handling and positioning of the probe even under CT. Up to 4 probes can be connected simultaneously, setting power independently for each antenna to treat different lesions at the same time as well as large multifocal tumors.
Safety
TATO has an automatic real-time safety control loop that stops the emission of MW in case a state of malfunctioning of the applicator is detected. Reflected Power for each antenna is monitored and visible on the display.
