Terumo digital clinical thermometer allows a fast and accurate measurement and can be used in two measurement methods:
PREDICTIVE MEASUREMENT: body temperature is calculated by a micro-processor based on temperature detected by the sensor and the statistical temperature data based on numerous measurements.
DIRECT MEASUREMENT: after the first beep signal, the thermometer automatically switches to the direct reading mode. In this case, the sensor directly records the temperature like a standard (mercury) thermometer. In this mode the sensor measures the actual temperature.
